About the Role:
The Junior Enterprise Network Engineer is responsible for the support of enterprise solutions including:
- Troubleshoot Fault Tickets
- Assist the design of network enterprise solutions to satisfy the clients requirements
- Commissioning enterprise IP and Wi-Fi networks
- Deploy and Commission of Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives to support sales initiatives and new enterprise solutions
Key Responsibilities include:
- Support and assist with the commissioning and troubleshooting of ICN solutions
- Design, plan, heat map, and commissioning of Wi-Fi deployments for enterprise projects
- End to end implementation including, commissioning and configuring network devices
- Audit customer integrated communication networks, documenting the existing build, required future designs as recommending further upgrades, including cyber security considerations
- Assist with detailed network designs, post sales / tender award for enterprise projects
- Provide operational support for faults with enterprise deployed solutions, as well as internal and customer generated tickets
- Work according to existing frameworks and guidelines, such as change controls and structural separation
- Support the preservation of corporate knowledge: intellectual property, understanding of industry standards, methodologies, processes, and best practices
- Requires up to 25% of Interstate Travel
About you:
The ideal person for this role will have/be:
- General knowledge in Enterprise firewalls
- Functional knowledge of virtualised environments and software packages desirable (ie VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Experience with Ruckus, FortiNet hardware and software desirable
- A professional who thrives working in a complex, fast-paced environment, agile to changing business needs and managing multiple project priorities
- Friendly team player able to work effectively as part of a team, share knowledge and skills, and work collaboratively with various stakeholders both internally and externally
