Description:
We are looking for a Brisbane based .NET Developer to join our clients wider Enterprise and Digital Applications team for a 2 year fixed term contract opportunity with the potential for extension. You will be responsible for the development, support and uplift across a variety of different Services’ applications and Digital platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform configuration, upgrades, enhancements, implementation and maintenance of various Applications and Digital Platforms to ensure the system’s capability meets the operational and strategic needs of the organisation.
- Apply specialist knowledge and analytical skills to maintain, develop and enhance these Applications and Digital Platforms
- Develop and review software design requirements for new or modified capability and implement, verify and review software components.
- Investigate and develop methods to integrate and/or interface multiple information systems and applications.
- Coordinate business and technical training for internal Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) on the use and support of these Applications as and when required.
- Participate in a rotational on-call arrangement as part of the incident management governance process as required.
Desired Skill Set:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or an equivalent relevant discipline.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Microsoft .NET development with a demonstrated knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile/Lean methodologies.
- Proven experience working with wider systems application, data and systems management utilising SQL, API, Azure, XML, Angular frameworks, ServiceNow, CICD, Branching solution, Json.
