About the role

This well respected and deeply understood role and function which directly reports to the General Manager, Marketing is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, forward thinking, high achieving team, who have a strong passion for making a positive and influential impact on the community.

This is a rare combination; a national role within a global company, headquartered in West Perth, heading up the marketing across Australia for a purpose led organisation making a real difference, working alongside an exceptional marketing team and group of highly engaged internal and external stakeholders.

This is being offered as a 13 month maternity leave cover contract.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Development, management & delivery of marketing communications, campaign strategies, media planning, placement, channel development, execution & schedules
  • Management of agency partners to ensure budgets, timeliness, quality standards and supplier agreements are upheld, and alignment of internal resources to track, measure, and report on campaign performance against campaign objectives
  • Working closely with APM’s Content Manager, social and digital specialists to ensure our digital footprint is optimised
  • Develop and manage customer retention & cross-selling campaigns, creating lead generation from funnel design & email nurture content
  • Manage the operational marketing function role, coordinate advertising, promotional activities and support on internal communications
  • Oversee the design and development of communication and marketing materials and presentations working closely with the Brand Manager
  • Thought leader and ownership of the marketing technology solutions and the interface between Marketing, IT department and suppliers.
  • Deeply understand the customer database and how best to communicate with potential customers in a way that drives customer loyalty, advocacy, and expansion.
  • Effectively segment the database and cultivate list-building strategies to identify new customer segments
  • Ensuring full compliance and nil breaches of contractual requirements or Australian Privacy Principles, SPAM Act, Regulatory Bodies, Health and Medical Association codes and other relevant marketing legislation
  • Work to continually improve organisational systems and processes to maximise employee efficiency, effectiveness and productivity to deliver quality outcomes

Experience and Qualifications

  • 5+years’ experience in a similar role with robust demonstrated capability to provide and deliver on strategic marketing solutions
  • Sound digital and social channel management experience including website management, search marketing, social media and content marketing
  • Strong CRM platforms and programs and automated marketing solutions experience, coupled with ability to edit materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Extensive commercial and analytical capability and the ability to leverage data-driven insights and target and segment specific opportunities
  • The ability to self-direct, multitask and work methodically to meet strict submission deadlines
  • Experience dealing with senior internal and external managers
  • Exposure to email automation tools and social administration tools such as Sprout social, Hootsuite or Sprinkler
  • Relevant business or marketing qualifications
  • Strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail
