With manufacturing all done onsite in the South East of Melbourne they hold a long and credible tenure in the col chain logistics space. Anything from life-saving drugs, vaccines, organs, and tissues to the most delicate French pastries and temperature-sensitive live reptiles can be transported using their advanced system.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role requires a strategic BDM to join the team and spearhead the build of pipeline business. Based in Melbourne you will be required to occasionally travel interstate to meet with larger customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build a solid pipeline of business using current relationships and open doors for new ones
  • Nourish current relationships to maintain business as well as unearth new business opportunities
  • Bring networks in the respective field
  • Ensure that all aspects of quality are adhered to, working in line with the production and quality team
  • Internal communication back to management to ensure consistency across the business
  • Be willing to undertake interstate travel when required
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure that all parts of the contract are upheld
  • Attend industry events when necessary as a business-building opportunity
  • Keeping an integral and up-to-date CRM (Hubspot experience would be an advantage)
  • Adhere to company values, policies, and vision at all times

Having solid BD experience, this personally would ideally come from the cold-chain logistics or pharmaceutical industry

Other experience includes

  • Experience in the cold-chain logistics/clinical trial/pharmaceutical industry would be a huge advantage
  • Proven track record in gaining new business and continually building a pipeline
  • Polished presentations skills with the ability to present tailored solutions
  • Strong commercial/business drive & a desire to achieve sales targets
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong business acumen and sound communication skills
  • Honesty, integrity, and ability to secure long-lasting relationships in the field
