Mobility Advisor

An exciting opportunity for a Mobility Advisor working in Short Programs has become open within Swinburne University of Technology’s Global Engagement team!

The Mobility Advisor, Short Programs, works to assist in the coordinating the university’s outbound study tours and short mobility programs. The successful applicant will be responsible for the growth and enhancement of international outbound study tours, and the short mobility programs for Swinburne students.

Part of this role will see the successful applicant collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to promote their work, and complying with systems, policies and procedures in relation to student mobility.

• Proven ability to liaise and work effectively in a team environment as well as across the University
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• High level organisational and project management skills, including the ability to: prioritise and plan administrative tasks effectively; simultaneously coordinate multiple functions; respond to unexpected situations; and meet deadlines
• A demonstrated strong commitment to client service principles and the ability to be flexible and to anticipate and be responsive to client needs
• Advanced experience in the use of MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook and the internet and the ability to maintain data and generate reports
• A degree in business, administration or a related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
