Description:
This exciting new role based in Australia as a hands-on Scrum QA and client liaison to deliver and influence their Test Process, test planning and design, execution and reporting.
You will be focussed on an in-country client, ensuring feature and regression tests are documented and run specific to that client’s business configuration and operational requirements. When not running that client’s test-suite you will be working on other scrum feature testing for the wider platform
They will develop your skills in Web and Mobile Application Cloud platforms and you will be an important part of their growing team.
In this role you will be working on a platform that already has some of the largest car manufacturers in the world on it, finding usability solutions to help our users get the most from their feature rich product and contributing directly to the day to day car sharing experience of tens of thousands of people around the world.
Must-haves:
● Working within a Scrum team to review requirements and devise test cases and User Story Acceptance
● Test execution and test evidence capturing
● Skilled Defect authoring and proactive follow up of issues
● Defining the appropriate tests required and any associated Test Data
● Defining NFT for a complex system
● Providing reporting metrics and testing status updates
● Work in a positive manner and advise the wider team of test delivery improvement initiatives
Knowledge and Experience:
● Previous experience working as a Scrum tester in Cloud Software solutions with influence in Mobile Apps
● High awareness of Test Processes, can help shape future testing direction while working hands on Testing
● Test Management tools e.g. JIRA, Confluence, TestRail
● Knowledge of API Testing techniques
● Minimum of 3 year’s software testing experience on IT projects in Agile teams
● Exposure to Test Automation Frameworks for Mobile Apps advantageous
● ISTQB/ISEB Certification in Software Testing an advantage
● Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
● Proven ability to tackle complex problems and find creative solutions
● Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and good documentation skills
● Proven ability to successfully communicate within the teams
● Proven ability to respond well to change and maintain flexibility while keeping focus on objectives
● Good document writing skills
● Clear thinking with a can-do attitude
● Strong team player
● Excellent communicator in delivery and agile stand-up Scrum meetings
