Are you passionate about the grains and livestock sectors in the Victorian Mallee, and looking for opportunities to work as part of a supportive team?

This role provides a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to grow their career in agriculture extension, working with a team of technical experts across Victoria. In this role you will play a key role in the design and the delivery of services and resources for dryland grain and livestock production farmers and stakeholders in the Victorian Mallee region to make better decisions to achieve economic growth and build farm business resilience.

The successful candidate will have well established networks and strong communication skills to engage and collaborate with farmers and project partners on a technical and project management level. They will also play a key role in agriculture recovery activities.

As a member of a supportive and experienced field based Northern grains team and broader Agriculture Services team, you will be well connected through a network of state-wide colleagues and have opportunities to undertake training and development through formal and on the job training opportunities. Experience or qualifications in Agriculture, Natural Resource Management or Science would be desirable but not mandatory.
