Mid-weight/senior Graphic Designer

Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Graphic Designer/Senior Graphic Designer to join our in-house Design Studio team. In this role you will manage numerous projects simultaneously, produce jobs from concept through to final artwork and interpret and develop briefs into strong visual communication solutions. You will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design and have at least 3-5 years of experience in an in-house design studio or within an agency environment.

We’re looking for a team player with strong interpersonal skills who thrives on variety and fast pace. Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and capabilities:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign)
• Experience in design for web and digital as well as social
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite – particularly Word & PowerPoint
• The ability to develop creative infographics, maps, graphics, iconography and digital assets
• An understanding of file and colour management
• Proactive, team player, problem solver, who can collaborate and also work independently
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
• Detail driven, well organized, self-managed and works well under pressure to meet deadlines
• Experience in website design/UX, animation, interactivity and email marketing would be advantageous
• Familiarity/experience of delivering annual reports would be a bonus
• A solid balance between creative and practical with the ability to ensure brand consistency using supplied client brand guidelines.
