About the role
In this role, you will develop, drive the membership growth, retention, and engagement programs for the TGGB with a focus on increasing revenue opportunities for the TGGB. You will take the lead on the development, implementation, and ongoing servicing of the TGGB’s corporate partnerships program.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing, developing, and implementing a membership recruitment strategy to actively grow membership for the region.
- Managing, developing, implementing and actively seek to strengthen corporate partnerships for Tourism Greater Geelong and The Bellarine. This will include development of packages, a networking and relationship building program, as well as constant assessment of further opportunities available to corporate partners to generate increased revenue for Tourism Greater Geelong and The Bellarine.
- Developing and maintaining an interest in the broader region encompassing Tourism Greater Geelong and The Bellarine through relationship building, presentations and representation with industry personnel, community groups and business associations.
- Providing leadership and guidance to the Membership and Partnerships team and broader organisation to ensure TGGB continues to deliver exceptional value and benefit to our members.
- Designing and promoting our member and partner opportunity guides. Providing insight and guidance on potential member and partner opportunities that meet the needs of the industry.
- Ensuring our members are provided with the highest level of customer service and identify ways to improve how we service them.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record and demonstrated success working within a membership-based organisation.
Essential Experience:
- Formal qualifications in Marketing, Business Development, or sales generation and/or relevant experience.
- Successful development and implementation of a membership retention and growth strategies program with proven results.
- Solid experience in acquiring and growing partnership revenue.
- Experience in presenting, representing, and explaining the benefits of a member organisation to the broader community.
- Experience in the delivery of corporate events focused on membership and partnership engagement and relationship building.
- An ability to identify emerging trends and develop new ideas for membership and corporate partnership benefits.
