Life-changing new medical and enabling technologies designed alongside the people who need them will be created by MedTechVic, a ground-breaking initiative by Swinburne University of Technology. Led by Swinburne, and working closely with industry and community partners, MedTechVic will bring people living with disabilities together with world-leading technology and experts in design, digitalisation, health and manufacturing to create innovative tailor-made medical and assistive devices.
As a Research Fellow - MedTechVic, you will work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, industry partners and clinicians from other disciplines to co-create assistive technology solutions. Reporting to the Director of MedTechVic and working with the MedTechVic team, you will add depth and knowledge to the team in relevant areas to the pool of clinician and researchers.
It is essential that you are comfortable in working with people with disabilities and enabling them to take the lead in the co-design of new products, systems, and processes. This unique opportunity is designed to be flexible.
