About The Role

Based in the South West of Sydney, this is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer experienced with Product Design. This role reports into the Head of Product Excellence.

• Develop, test and evaluate product design concepts through to manufacture and commercialisation for new and existing products.
• Use of CAD software (CATIA and Solidworks).
• Develop 3D models and 2D documentation as per product specifications.
• Create and issue BOMs for overseas manufacturers.
• Work towards project budgets and timeframe.
• Reporting on project performance.

Skills And Experience

• Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in a similar product design engineer role, working from concept creation through to production.
• Demonstrated experience with CAD software (e.g. CATIA, Solidworks).
• Experience in product testing and validation.
