Email Marketing Product Manager, Digital Products & Innovation Team

The Role

We are looking for a creative thinking, analysis obsessed and tech-savvy Email Marketing Product Manager to join our team. This person will be someone who knows the ins and outs of modern email marketing, its systems, metrics, UX and best practice strategies. The Email Marketing Product Manager will be responsible for leveraging our email marketing systems to deliver, automate and scale content engagement across key client segments. The successful candidate will be obsessed with email marketing strategy, solving puzzles and data analysis. Email is the top tool Gartner has for proactively connecting clients with the right content at the right time to solve their complex mission critical priorities. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our efforts to drive client engagement as well as Gartner’s revenue growth and retention.

What You Will Do

  • Ideation & Prioritization: Partner with Senior Director of Digital Client Experience and other key stakeholders around the company to drive the strategic roadmap for our client-facing emails, including journey-based mapping, list segmentation, persona modelling and platform evolutions.
  • Analysis: Gather and assess qualitative client feedback and quantitative data to find better ways to connect clients with the expert research, peer conversations, services and site functionality that drive retention.
  • Creative Direction: Leverage your user experience and editorial background to continually improve the usability and effectiveness of our client emails.
  • Development Coordination: Lead a full scrum team at your disposal to efficiently and impactfully evolve our email contributions in a measurable, scalable and A/B tested manner.
  • Communication: Report regularly on our test-and-learn strategies’ learnings both internally and even externally at relevant industry conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer and business needs and gather product requirements
  • Prioritize projects and features based on impact and alignment with the team’s long-term goals and strategy
  • Integrate input from multiple channels – including analytics, customer research and stakeholder requirements – into product priorities and requirements
  • Inform product decisions with quantitative and qualitative data on user behavior and experimentation
  • Work with our engineering team to implement new products and features
  • Define project/feature KPIs and track these post-release
  • Provide visibility to business and technical stakeholders on product roadmap, performance and impact
