The Marketing Manager, ANZ (Australia, New Zealand) is responsible for the planning and execution of all demand generation initiatives for customer segments to drive revenue through effective acquisition and install base lead generation programs for our direct sales teams and our strategic alliance partners.
Reporting to the Marketing Director APJ, the role involves working closely alongside the Programs Marketing, Partner Marketing and Corporate Marketing teams.

Key Accountabilities

- Responsible for the management, development and execution of all demand generation campaigns ensuring adherence to budgets comprising MDF from partners and alignment to APJ business objectives.
- Create, execute, and measure demand generation programs and events to increase revenue, product adoption and retention ensuring alignment to strategic priorities.
- Manage 3rd party agency relationships pertaining to all demand generation initiatives.
- Ensure Rackspace’s value proposition is clearly understood and reinforced externally through programs and events.
- Work in lock-step with the Partner Marketing Manager, APJ and Program/Digital Marketing Manager to ensure integration of Market Development Fund (MDF) driven programs.
- Communication of marketing programs to internal stakeholders securing buy-in. Be a marketing ambassador with Sales to solicit continuous feedback from Sales and disseminate that feedback to Marketing and/or the local leadership team.
- Responsible for the tracking, reporting, and analysis of the opportunities and ROI generated from programs initiated.
- Reporting ROI success metrics back to channel partners.
- Integration and collaboration with Rackspace’s global marketing teams.
To be successful in this role you will have:

- 8+ years marketing experience, ideally gained within IT services.
- Proven success in developing and managing integrated marketing programs to help cultivate client relationships and growth and will be able to demonstrate strong success metrics.
- Excellent knowledge of marketing campaigns and communications principles and practices.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, presentation and problem solving skills.
- Strong process and effective project management skills driving execution cross-functionally with competing deadlines and priorities.
- Ability to work strategically and tactically.
- Shown success in developing and executing regional/country programs and events that drive deal acceleration and bookings.
- Ability to analyse & interpret metrics around field marketing performance and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Self-motivated, sense of urgency and strong customer focus.
- Strong team player – this position is cross-functional and requires significant teamwork.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
- A good working knowledge of Salesforce.com or similar CRM as well as a marketing automation platform e.g. Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Strong capability in working to fixed budgets and exhausting funds by desired deadline.
- A Marketing degree or equivalent experience in Marketing
- This role can be remotely based in Australia.
