Marketing Manager

 

Description:

We are currently working with a social enterprise organisation based in the western suburbs, they are looking for a Marketing Manager to join the organisation in a permanent full-time capacity. As the Marketing Manager you will be reporting to the Head of CV and using expert knowledge of marketing and product management to shape the strategy and lead the direction of the team to support achievement of deliverables, defence and growth of different lines of business within PR, comms fundraising and events support.

Responsibilities:

  • Streamline cross department collaboration and communication by developing processes for efficient, effective and transparent communication between the Marketing Team members and all other departments and lines of business
  • Support all members of the Marketing team to develop stronger capabilities in line with roles and responsibilities
  • Mentor, guide and support team members to develop stronger skills in PR, comms and marketing
  • Work with the Head of CX to develop business cases, strategic plans and reports in line with the organization strategic direction to support defense and growth of different lines of business through comms, PR, fundraising and events
  • Work with the Head of CX and Online Engagement team to develop a Fundraising strategy which supports sustainable growth of this line of business
  • Proactively balance internal and external communications needs to improve brand awareness and perception and support increased engagement
  • Support Key Stakeholders to develop and deliver acquisition strategies, functional plans and campaigns which support growth of lines of business in line with business objectives
  • Support Key Stakeholders to develop and deliver retention strategies, functional plans and campaigns which support growth of lines of business in line with business objectives

Required Skills & Specialisms:

  • Experience with product management, project management principles, marketing agency experience (preferred), budget management, CRM implementation experience.
  • Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, media, marketing or equivalent.
  • 3+ years PR experience.
  • Understanding of for purpose, B2B and B2C organisations.
  • Understanding of fundraising.
  • Experience leading small teams.
