Due to an internal promotion, the opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join one of the most iconic CBD precincts in Melbourne. This Property Group is one of the largest in Australia and perform well in all asset classes.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be the custodian for the brand and customer experience of this asset. You will be responsible for the delivery of marketing initiatives across the Commercial Tenant audience, establishing the reputation of both a workplace of choice and landlord of choice, while supporting a successful trading environment for Retail tenants. You will have 2 direct reports supporting you as well.
Your daily duties will include:

  • Manage and mentor 2 Marketing direct reports
  • Develop and implement the annual Asset marketing plan and budget, ensuring alignment of precinct brand objectives, activities are delivered to timeline and within budget
  • Oversee monthly performance, financial reporting, and leverage data-driven insights to make improvement recommendations
  • Take the lead in monthly management meetings, reporting on marketing outcomes and how to overcome any precinct challenges
  • Develop localised tenant engagement plan, based on commercial objectives for precinct
  • Support the delivery of community-lead precinct initiatives
  • Work with Retail Manager and support retail tenants in promotions and initiatives
  • Ensure precinct signage is relevant, working with Operations Manager
  • Act as a brand custodian for the Commercial/Retail asset, ensuring brand alignment
  • Administrative duties as required

To be successful for the role you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • 5 + years’ experience in Marketing within Property Sector
  • Commercial (Office), Retail or Similar Property Asset marketing experience preferred
  • Experience managing and mentoring direct reports
  • Proven ability implementing successful content strategy for digital channels.
  • Customer orientated with demonstrated ability to understand the needs of the target audience
  • A team player with demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment with complex stakeholder network.
  • Track-record delivering events and/or activations to a B2C audience.
  • Adaptable, enthusiastic and willing to take on new tasks and opportunities as they arise
  • Professional with clear written and oral communication skills, exemplary time management and strong organisational skills.
  • Hands-on understanding of digital communication channels
