Description:

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Parramatta Eels Marketing Manager will be experienced in delivering end to end brand and marketing solutions across all business areas including consumer, B2B and partnerships. The ideal candidate will be comfortable executing a range of marketing initiatives while having an awareness and understanding of overarching business goals and objectives. They will have experience in elite sports, entertainment, broadcast or agency and be able to thrive in a dynamic and busy work environment. This is a hands-on role that is suitable for someone who has the ambition to make a difference every day.

Objectives of the role

  • Establish, produce, coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns based on business needs on time and within budget
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis and best practice to build successful strategies
  • Provide marketing campaign results and key insights with the view to refine for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies
  • Build positive working relationships with internal business units and external agencies and suppliers including events, media and creative services where required
  • Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all touchpoints

     

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the marketing and creative services team, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
  • Conceptualise and implement multi-channel campaigns ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
  • Gather customer and market insights. Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimise accordingly
  • Present ideas and final deliverables and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
  • Assist in the delivery of needs across the business aligning with business goals and objectives

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools an advantage
