Marketing Manager

 

Description:

You will play an integral role in the team, responsible for developing marketing campaign proposals in designated South East Asia & Pacific countries, based on shopper insights (activated across multiple channels) and in line with a retailer's long term marketing strategy. You will be working with the Regional Campaign Director on major client proposals and will be responsible for implementing strategy and best practice across all other clients in the region.

 

Accountable for developing campaigns that have a unique proposition from our competition, you'll be delivering best practice campaign implementation, encouraging increased engagement of shoppers, across all mediums including Digital. You'll make an impact by: 

 

  • Implementing the regions proposal strategy across client base, developing compelling pitches
  • Supporting the regional Campaign Director and BD roles to build client base across total region
  • Ensuring activation is included in priority proposals; developing best practice and agency contacts throughout South East Asia & Pacific to implement activations that fully maximize shopper engagement.
  • Utilising shopper research and insights to design campaigns that engage and excite, create maximum impact in store and give a campaign the best possible chance of success.
  • Focusing on how to improve campaign communication, measure impact of messaging across all channels and ensure that campaign budget is invested to the best effect.

 

This is a varied and challenging Marketing Manager role offering exposure across a portfolio of global grocery and retail brands. You will be able to input, collaborate and develop within a strong team of sales and marketing experts who are designing solutions for our clients so that they can reach, reward and retain their loyalty customers across the digital and physical shopper journey.

 

 

About You

Energetic and open with an honest straightforward style, you'll have solid experience and robust track-record of driving marketing campaigns, either in an agency (brand/marketing/digital/advertising) setting or a consumer goods / FMCG / retail environment. Together with:

 

  • A wide range of marketing competencies across digital, PR, research, experiential, creative and social
  • The ability to translate and execute group strategy into local adaptions 
  • Experience in managing Vendors & Agencies
  • Significant retail knowledge and insights
  • Experience in loyalty programmes/promotion retail advantageous
  • Clear, concise and engaging communication skills
