Marketing Intern

BizVision is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team. In this role, you will focus on social media and search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives to learn about online presence and website/ social media traffic. This is an exciting role providing a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and work with a team of professionals in the industry.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should also have a strong interest in:

• Managing and growing social media presence on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Developing and executing social media campaigns to promote services, increase brand awareness, and engage with audiences.
• Monitoring and analysing social media metrics to track performance and optimising content for maximum engagement and reach.
• Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute SEO strategies to improve our search engine rankings and drive traffic to our website.
• Conducting keyword research and analysing website traffic to identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Writing blog posts and other content optimised for SEO and social media.
• Creating marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for content creation and engagement.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and strategies.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and content.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using social media management and SEO tools.
• Familiarity with WordPress or other website CMS is a plus.
