Description:

In this newly created role, as the Marketing Automation Specialist, you will be reporting to the Digital Performance Manager and working closely with the cross-functional Customer Journey Squads. The Marketing Automation specialist is responsible for delivering Marketing Automaton services to meet Swinburne’s customer acquisition objectives by leveraging the full capabilities of Swinburne’s enterprise marketing automation platform across email, SMS and website channels.

Using proven expertise in designing and building automated cross-channel marketing workflows, you will provide structured and integrated solutions to deliver campaign and always-on marketing program objectives. The role demands demonstrated experience and commitment to marketing automation technology, processes and data activation. This role will work to automate marketing execution by enabling personalised and timely value-driven experiences across the customer experience and utilise analytics to uncover new opportunities to optimise the journey across key digital touchpoints.
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Experience and understanding of Cross-Channel Campaigns and Strategic Database Marketing and the marketing functional paradigm from planning through to reporting and optimisation
  • Experience and understanding of core Adobe Campaign features (e.g., Workflow, Segment, Channels, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to effectively influence stakeholders and colleagues at various levels of seniority
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines with experience in value-based, agile delivery
