WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting to the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Marketing & Alumni Coordination Lead, the Marketing Assistant is primarily responsible for providing administrative data entry and event logistic support to the Marketing Coordinators and managing Partner and Principal Marketing activities across ANZ.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Event Administration
- Assist Marketing Coordinators with event coordination primarily for Partners, Principals. This may include but is not limited to:
- Coordinate and lead on event logistics on any marketing events. Assist in the sourcing of venues, liaising with speakers, dealing with suppliers including caterers and stylists and supporting the Manager and Senior Coordinators on all logistical activities
- Prepare the guest list from the CRM and create event in CRM system, post-event CRM tracking
- Provide administrative support – printing RSVP list, name tags etc.
- Prepare and send out thank-you and feedback emails as required
- Gather and collate feedback
- Report on events metrics
Client Communications - marketing database and mailings
- Manage our CRM
- Actively process all new uploads on a regular basis
- Process and update contacts prior to major events and mailout campaigns (e.g. BCG Bytes, Australian Value Creators report)
- Follow through with EAs on any data discrepancies and rectify
- Proactively update database through press mentions of key contacts and develop a cyclical database cleaning/review process
- Escalate any queries to Marketing team
Mailings
- Become proficient in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud email marketing tool.
- Send event invitations and e-marketing newsletters, using the CRM system to pull marketing lists, as directed by Senior Coordinators and Manager
- Assist with the tracking and reporting of email mailings
- Identify and action mail backs and email bounces
Track all press activity
- Compile weekly press mention reports for Partners/Principals using Factiva
- Track activity versus competitors and update local tracking report
- Enter all press clips for BCG and competitors into the Global Media Database for global reporting
Social media management
- Write content and posts as directed by the Marketing Manager
- Monitor and track performance of social media channels and understand engagement metrics (LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram)
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Qualifications
- A tertiary level qualification in marketing related field is preferred
Experience
- Demonstrated interest in Marketing – previous work experience in business or marketing preferred
- Experience in database maintenance – ideally a knowledge of contact databases
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
