Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Marketing and Business Development Coordinator to work with our Practice Directors to provide them with support in implementing our marketing strategy, coordinating business development initiatives, and contributing to the overall growth of our firm.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Assisting in the execution of our marketing strategy
- Working closely with a core network of external consultants and suppliers to support delivery of externally managed initiatives and assets
- Assisting in managing social media platforms, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries
- Assisting in monitoring and managing online reviews and client testimonials
- Supporting the creation of marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, social media updates, and email campaigns
- Collaborating with internal teams to coordinate the production and distribution of marketing collateral
- Assisting with organising and coordinating networking events, seminars, and community outreach programs
- Maintaining and update referrer databases, referral source lists, and contact management systems
- Assisting in monitoring and reporting on effectiveness of business development and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with internal team on the progress of activities.
- Conducting research on target demographics, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and inform marketing strategies.
- Staying updated on industry trends, legal developments, and marketing best practices
About You
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- You will possess 2-3 years of experience in marketing, business development (experience in the legal industry or professional services is a plus but not a prerequisite)
- Basic understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing channels, and social media platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to craft compelling content
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (e.g. social media management, email marketing, content management systems)
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data to support decision-making
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn, with a passion for marketing and business development
