- Work with the marketing team to review and update marketing and promotional materials including advertisements, brochures, website content, banners, office signage, staff profiles and capability statements;
- Support office wide LinkedIn Activities – in conjunction with the Marketing team encourage the use of Sales Navigator, drive a focus on Profile Development, increase use of the platform for networking and targeting, manage InMail campaigns, assist with content posting.
- Events – develop prospect lists and ensure invites are sent to these lists to maintain a good ratio of clients/prospects at Sydney office events. Conduct research on attendees to provide information/intelligence to the Partner and Principal group for appropriate and effective networking.
- Provide support and guidance to Sydney Partner and Principal group on all Business Development related activities and initiatives.
- Attend relevant committee meetings and liaise with relevant stakeholders to progress planned initiatives and make recommendations on best practice activities.
- Client, Referrer and Prospect Research - Research potential clients, referrers and prospects to develop intelligence on key trigger points that can be utilised in discussions and presentations. Use existing digital tools (LinkedIn, Eloqua, CRM, IBIS World, Introhive and more) to develop information packs for the Partner and Principal group based on existing booked meetings along with a pro-active approach.
- Assist in the development of target lists - Utilise existing online and offline tools to develop target/prospects lists for all divisions in the Sydney office
- Coach identified professional staff with their BD activities and help motivate and drive positive BD behaviours
- Key Account Planning – conduct meetings with Partner and Principal group to identify and develop key account plans for clients and targets. Deliver the key account plans in conjunction with Sydney office and National Marketing.
- CRM – Sydney office dedicated liaison for CRM implementation and local office expert on ongoing usage.
- Tenders and Proposals - Review and evaluate tenders and proposals for consistency of messaging and brand compliance. **This role will not be responsible for creating/collating/organising the tender and/or proposals – just compliance review and best practice recommendations at the final stage.
