The Role


We are looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist who will focus on using Salesforce Marketing Cloud to configure and launch integrated, best-in-class journeys.

As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will work collaboratively with your cross-functional mission team and deliver great work that meets our objectives and delivers our key results.

What you will be doing:

  • Exhibit passion and knowledge on SFMC
  • Manage stakeholder relationships by serving as the SME for SFMC in campaign delivery
  • Enable delivery of the most effective campaigns by providing insights and contributing to the development of the most efficient operational processes for the programming of SFMC journeys
  • Be informed and up to date about legal, regulatory, and business compliance requirements, and ensure proper application
  • Ensure appropriate testing and quality assurance processes are followed for all journeys
  • Provide support to your fellow programmers with peer reviews
  • Identify opportunities for incremental improvements and solutions to existing processes and systems within SFMC
  • Participate and embrace agile ways of working, mindsets and practices to support measurable improvements to effectiveness and productivity

 

To be successful in the role, you'll bring skills and experience in:

Key requirements:

  • Experience in 1:1 or data-driven marketing such as email, SMS, DM
  • Strong data management including data analysis and/or manipulating data


High desirable:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications or a related discipline is
  • Experience as Consultant, Developer and Administrator
  • Comfortability and knowledge in SQL
  • Data Management experience
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Passionate, driven and results-oriented
  • 1:1 campaign management
