About You

The ideal applicant will have experience delivering a range of project management and coordination activities to support the development and delivery of the social and cultural components of the NSW Marine Integrated Monitoring Program. You will have strong communication skills and be able to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, balance multiple priorities, and have an interest in the work of DPI Fisheries, Marine Estate Management Strategy, and in particular, monitoring the social and cultural attributes of the NSW marine estate.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation, and implementing and monitoring project plans
• Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project outcomes
• Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees, and consultations to facilitate the exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
• Source, collate, and compile data and information to support project delivery, identify emerging issues, and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables
• Undertake social research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning
