Job Description


We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Manager Financial Reporting to join our high performing Corporate Finance team.

Based at Head Office in the CBD office and reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a challenging and technically focussed role, responsible for producing accurate and timely financial reporting information for our Corporate Finance team.

The scope of the role will include:

  • Month-end close duties including balance sheet reconciliations and accruals.
  • Month-end reporting, manage journals postings and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Assisting with preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Preparation of monthly BAS and other statutory compliance requirement (FBT and Tax Returns).
  • Preparation and processing of commission entitlement accruals and other entitlements of the sales agents.
  • Identify continuous improvements of finance processes and internal controls.
  • Assist with both internal and external audits.
  • Lead a small team of other accountants and supporting ad-hoc projects when required.

 

Qualifications


The skills and experience you will bring to this role include:

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role within large corporate environment (ideal).
  • CA/CPA essential.
  • Big-4 experience highly regarded but not essential
  • Strong Excel Skills.
  • A high attention to detail, strong work ethic as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and operate efficiently in a highly complex environment.
