Description:
The Crown Financial Crime Risk team are looking for a Manager - Financial Crime Policy and Program (AML/CTF) to join our growing team. In this role, you will report to and support the Senior Manager – Financial Crime Policy and Program, to ensure Crown complies with its Financial Crime obligations more specifically its AML/CTF obligations in accordance with both the AML/CTF Act and AML/CTF Rules, along with Crown’s obligations relating to Proceeds of Crime, Sanctions, ABAC and Modern Slavery.
- Support the Senior Manager - Financial Crime Policy and Program to develop and maintain Crown’s AML/CTF Program and the associated standards, policies and procedures
- Support the Senior Manager – Financial Crime Policy and Program and work alongside other Crown functions to monitor developments and emerging issues in financial crime laws and regulations and industry best practice
- Work closely with the wider Financial Crime Governance team, particularly the Financial Crime Reporting, and Financial Crime Risk Assessment team to ensure Crown’s financial framework is executed effectively.
- Support the Senior Manager – Financial Crime Policy and Program to provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise to support the delivery of development of Crown’s financial crime framework.
- Operationalise a sample testing framework across Crown’s financial crime obligations to assess effectiveness of the financial crime framework, as required.
- Relevant experience in a similar role in a financial service, gambling and/or professional services environment.
- Strong capability and experience in managing financial crime using a risk-based approach.
- Experience in policy writing and review in the area of financial crime.
- Extensive experience, knowledge and interest in the financial crime regulatory environment and an understanding of the regulatory priorities within which Crown operates.
- Knowledge of gaming operations, policies, procedures and the products and services that Crown offers.
- Strong connection with Crown’s business strategy and commercial drivers.
- Advanced strategic thinking and leadership, including the ability to attract, retain and develop talent.
