Manager Business Engagement

 

Description:

The role of a Manager, Business engagement will be a dynamic leader responsible for leading and managing the team responsible for engaging with key stakeholders and partners to drive project growth and success. With excellent written and oral communication, comfortable presenting to and influencing senior audiences. This role requires first-rate stakeholder engagement and relationship skills and experience operating across wide enterprise structures.

What might your day involve?

No two days will ever look the same, but to give an idea:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve optimal stack and occupancy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including customers agencies and teams, service providers and manufacturers
  • Lead and manage a team of business engagement professionals, providing coaching and guidance as needed to ensure the team is aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities, projects and escalate issues
  • Build and utilise metrics to measure and report on occupancy.
  • Communicate key Workplace activities regularly with senior management and other stakeholders via various communication channels to provide updates on business engagement initiatives, as well as to provide insights and recommendations for future initiatives.

What are we looking for in our ideal candidate?

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales, with a focus on engaging with external partners and stakeholders preferably in the workplace/property sector
  • Proven track record of developing and managing successful business engagement programs and initiatives.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing and coaching team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and success.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
