About Us

The Office of Quality and Standards coordinates the development of educational policy and provides central services supporting quality reviews and compliance monitoring and enhancement; curriculum management; and development of student integrity through oversight and management of student discipline processes relating to general and academic misconduct. In addition to operational responsibilities across a number of discrete but related functions, the Office leads a variety of strategic programs aligning with the University's strategic vision.

The Curriculum Quality and Management team provides a comprehensive support model for curriculum management across the university. In this, it is responsible for the curriculum management system and the operational application of core standards in curriculum design, development, and governance.

The Student Integrity Services team is responsible for the operational function across the university of all matters of academic and general misconduct.

The Quality Improvement, Compliance, Assurance and Policy teams are responsible for academic quality and standards, assurance, education policy, international compliance, professional accreditation and process and data quality enhancement services in support of compliance with relevant standards and the realisation of improved operational efficiency and efficacy.

The Role

Maintaining academic integrity is a top priority for Murdoch University. The Manager, Student Integrity Services has oversight of student discipline processes relating to student general and academic misconduct across the university. The Manager’s responsibilities include responding to potential risks and opportunities in relation to academic integrity and general misconduct; implementing and evaluating strategies and activities to promote and support academic integrity; and managing relevant policies, compliance requirements and reporting. The Manager leads a small team.

What you’ll bring to this role

You will be an experienced academic integrity professional with a comprehensive understanding of current issues in the academic integrity space. Your work history will demonstrate excellent communication, conflict resolution and relationship-building skills teamed with resilience and discretion. You will also have:

  • demonstrated ability to lead innovation and change in a tertiary education institution.
  • advanced analytical skills and demonstrated ability to critically evaluate and synthesise information and data gathered from multiple sources.
  • extensive experience in the use of information systems, including development, maintenance, and reporting functions.
