About the Role

The Ehrenberg-Bass Sponsorship Manager is responsible for the overall management and implementation of activities and services provided as part of the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute’s member-based Sponsorship Program, ensuring program participants (external stakeholders) and contributors (internal stakeholders) receive an effective and quality service. The position fulfils this purpose through the development and delivery of membership engagement strategies, the development and improvement of operational systems, processes and procedures, and the overseeing of membership renewal and onboarding processes.

The position is responsible for the management of the Ehrenberg-Bass Sponsorship business team, whose collective focus is on the operational, logistical and administrative functions of the Sponsorship Program. The position provides guidance and leadership to the team and manages highly complex operational, business and membership matters and escalations, as required.
 

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of operational services and activities of the Sponsorship Program
  • Anticipate industry needs and develop strategies for future member engagement and stakeholder experience improvement
  • Drive the internal research delivery upskilling program for Marketing Scientists in Sponsorship delivery requirements
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Sponsorship Guidelines and Procedures for staff, internal stakeholders and sponsors to follow to ensure an efficient and streamlined service
  • Manage the Sponsorship Team


Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification and experience in a related discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills, including project management experience
  • Demonstrated high level organisation and coordination, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills; a resourceful and proactive approach to work and the ability to achieve critical deadlines without compromising quality in a complex environment
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative in anticipating requirements and to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a busy team environment
  • Proven relationship building and stakeholder management experience delivering effective communication, high level collaboration, consultation, negotiation and engagement at multiple levels
  • Highly analytical nature with attention to detail and sound reporting abilities. Experience in using data analytics and producing well rounded interpretation and recommendations
