This position contributes to the efficient and effective operation of the Client Services Division in the Hobart branch by managing the operation and resources of the Personal Services team, exercising a very high level formal delegation and discretion, managing the performance and skill development of the members of the Personal Services Team, and engaging in proactive client and relationship building to meet the objectives of the organisation.

Duties

  • Manage the day to day service delivery and operations of the Personal Services team in the Hobart branch to ensure the attainment of service standards and targets, key performance indicators and benchmarks.
  • Lead and develop the human resources of the team and manage its physical and financial resources.
  • Manage and monitor the performance of the Personal Services team members including allocation of files, undertaking statement checking and regular file review, exercising technical and quality control of processes, outcomes and systems, and develop the financial administration skills of the team members through the coordination and provision of training and coaching.
  • Contribute to the critical evaluation and incremental improvement of workplace and service delivery practices to achieve corporate goals.
  • Exercise a very high level formal delegation and discretion in relation to the management of estates and trusts.
  • Engage in proactive external and internal client service and relationship building as required.
