_An exciting opportunity exists to join the APRA AMCOS team working in the Writer Services membership team. Writers and Publishers of music are at the heart of our organisation and this role leads and coordinates the Australian state based team servicing our writer members. These members range from high profile music writers to those just starting out in their career. As a team, the Writer Services Representatives work closely with teams in Aotearoa New Zealand and the National Indigenous and Torres Strait Island Music Office in supporting members.

_The Manager of Writer Services coordinates and leads a team of approximately. 10 team members in the delivery of writer services, reporting to the Director of Writer Services. This is a key role in the Membership Division and is responsible for the team management for state-based representatives and the continuous improvement in services to writer members. Experience in the music industry is essential and applications must include a CV and Cover Letter.

APRA AMCOS
Founded in 1926, APRA AMCOS administers the performing and communication rights of over 110,000 composer, songwriter, and music publisher members in Australia and New Zealand. We collect and distribute license fees for the public performance and communication of our members' musical works. The Membership Division provides services and support to its members in Australia, New Zealand and around the world.

About you: You are passionate about our members, Australian and New Zealand composers, songwriters and music industry organisations and representatives. A natural communicator, innovator, problem solver with sophisticated administration skills, you love to motivate and support others within a team environment. You will be able to work autonomously when required whilst making yourself available to support the team to deliver on positive engagement and retention of members.

_This role is to be based in our Sydney office to work closely with the Director of Writer Services in managing the broader Writer Services team.
