About the Opportunity
You will work closely with the leadership team to achieve objectives aligned with the Data and Analytics Strategy. You will proactively engage with stakeholders to develop business requirements, deliver expert advice, manage expectations, and strengthen business intelligence reporting services and analytics capability. Additionally, you will maintain a collaborative relationship with a range of key stakeholders to manage the delivery of operational reporting and strategic business intelligence initiatives from our data warehouse and other information assets.
Y*ou will*

  • lead a team of data professionals to drive the use of enterprise data to generate insights, support decision making, and drive automation within business operations. Modern data solutions will inform initiatives to adapt, improve and innovate business services, linking business operations to long term strategic objectives;
  • lead the implementation of a new culture to drive analytics self-service reporting through collaborating with internal stakeholders, business users and technical enabling functions;
  • engage with stakeholders to develop business requirements, deliver expert advice, manage expectations to ensure business intelligence, analytics, and reporting suit the current and future needs for the University; and
  • collaborate with key stakeholders and proactively identify and deliver new data sources and oversee the integration of new and existing data sources.

You will be a skilled leader with the ability to manage and develop a high performing team with competing resources and priorities. You will be well-versed and experienced in the application of project management methodologies. Additionally, you will have the capability to identify and engage effectively with end customers and present complex data in a user-friendly manner.
You will possess demonstrated:

  • experience in provision of high-level business intelligence advice to support the strategic goals of a dynamic and competitive organisation; and
  • ability to undertake reporting process improvements by ensuring contemporary practices in data management and reporting are utilised to provide distribution of accurate, timely and concise reports.
