About the Role

The Fundraising Manager is a key role within Wesley Mission Queensland. This position is responsible for leading the WMQ fundraising team and will play an integral role in developing and delivering the WMQ fundraising strategy.

The Fundraising Manager will focus on building the profile of WMQ and its leading cause areas as a preferred choice for support from the community. This includes raising income through building strong relationships with corporate partners, individual donors and community groups.

What you will bring to the role:
Track record of achievement in donor engagement and stewarding.
Experience successfully delivering financial asks in either a commercial or not-for-profit environment
Proven track record of developing relationships with major donors/stakeholders and crafting and implementing major donor strategies and communication plans.
Experience working with a donor system/database.
Demonstrated experience writing and presenting proposals to secure opportunities.
Demonstrated experience in fundraising from individuals, including managing and nurturing donor/stakeholder relationships via email, telephone and in person.
CFRE Accreditation (or a commitment to accomplish within 2 years)
An undergraduate qualification, or an equivalent, alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience in fundraising.
