Description:

Duties include but are not limited to analysis including problem solving, mapping and identification for automation improvement, regression testing of existing modelling, participation in workshops, aiding determination of business requirements/user story understanding, assist in creating new initiatives and Proof of Concepts, working closely with Line 1 / Line 2 in design, and provision of key insights available to the broader Westpac community.

Stakeholder engagement will be an integral component of this role; targeted training sessions (both face to face and virtual) will need to be developed and conducted for large groups as well as ensuring there is timely support to user queries (you may be assigned the first point of contact in regards to specific features/areas).

Due to the scope of this role, you’ll be expected to act as a trusted advisor to the business whilst building effective working relationships with various stakeholders across the group.

What do I need? 

The successful candidate will ideally have at least 2 years experience across risk and compliance systems in an analyst/ business role. Knowledge of risk management disciplines, compliance frameworks and value chain is regarded.

Adaptability, flexibility, and willingness to learn is a requirement paired with a strong engagement style proven by a track record running workshops/training sessions for a number of stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be able to work constructively with teams and individually, acting with high integrity. They will be outcome focused and can communicate effectively with users of all levels and abilities.
