The Opportunity

As Afterpay’s Manager, Retail Growth, you’ll help drive and deliver key retail initiatives and you will be responsible for owning the go-to-market operationalisation of strategic initiatives that drive merchant customer growth and trade. You will need to apply your strategic and commercial acumen whilst being across the detail, and be able to manage several projects simultaneously. 

 

We are much more than our job descriptions, but here’s where you will begin…

  • Support the Director of Instore APAC in a range of areas including overall program management, stakeholder management and governance (Leadership teams, Executive updates), project planning for launches of new product features, commercial analysis on new product and feature development, financial forecasting in operations and financial metric reporting and analysis
  • Develop and lead our Instore reporting updates for ANZ. Develop the framework and work with Finance, Strategy, Analytics and Risk teams to ensure the team has the right Tableau dashboards and BI reports at the right cadence
  • Lead the OKR Framework and templates for Global Instore. You will keep our Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Templates updated by partnering with our analytics team and key leadership 
  • Monitor the customer journey and work with key stakeholders to address any outliers to maximise merchant adoption, customer frequency and usage of Afterpay 
  • Lead the development of actionable insights required to drive performance outcomes on a weekly and monthly basis and feed these into Trade Optimisation. You will perform ad-hoc analysis on opportunities or threats to advise the business on actions to take
  • Partner with our Manager, ANZ Trade Optimisation to build the monthly Instore ANZ Growth meeting and Retail weekly performance meeting
  • Support with our merchant and consumer strategy project planning, financial updates and internal comms updates
  • Partner with our Strategy and Analytics team to generate ongoing case studies for Retail 
  • Partner with our Instore Marketing Manager to build a quarterly shopping centre performance review
