The role:


We are looking for an organised and resilient individual, to assist with the implementation of CBCity’s Graffiti Management 2023 Project. You will consult with young community stakeholders who are at-risk of participating in anti-social behaviour, to create street art murals at identified graffiti hotspots across our City.


Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Liaison with council teams, community groups and other stakeholders including NSW Police Force, to scope suitability of identified locations for street murals and/or increased vegetation.
  • Coordination of 21 workshops and painting sessions, leading to the completion of three Street Art murals, to be completed by May and November 2023.
  • Liaison with graffiti art expert and consult with partners on each project.
  • Provision of information, support, and referrals, so that young people can access appropriate services.
  • Reporting Requirements: As this position is funded by NSW Communities and Justice, you will be required to prepare and present, data collection, plans, progress reports, evaluations and funding acquittals, in accordance with the Funding Agreement.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, managing and evaluating community programs with a range of partners.
  • Experience working with community groups and providing support (preferably to young people).
  • Skills in the use of a range of computer applications including MS Word, Excel and email.
  • Minimum TAFE Certificate IV in Community Services (Youth Work and/or Community Services Work) or equivalent minimum 12 months of related experience.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Current Class C Drivers Licence.
