About The Role...

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team in the role of Management Accountant. Based at the Seeley Head Office in Lonsdale SA and reporting to the Senior Management Accountant you will be responsible for analysing financial information and producing accurate and timely management reports. This is a great opportunity to progress your accounting pathway, supporting key stakeholders while working for a reputable market leader.

About The Person…

The successful candidate will be a bachelor’s degree holder in Commerce/ Accounting or relevant field and preferably CA/CPA qualified, however not essential. You will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will be hands on, organised, having an eye for detail and excellent communication skills. You will be driven, adaptable to changing demands and will have excellent problem-solving skills. In addition, you will meet the following key criteria:

• Previous experience working for a medium to large business (a manufacturing environment considered advantageous)
• Personable qualities to help foster positive relations throughout the business
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office particularly Excel
• Pronto or similar ERP system experience (desirable)
• Enjoy working as part of an effective team
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles

Key Skills And Responsibilities Include

• Month-end accounting including processing of journals and reconciliations
• Preparation of end of month/ad-hoc reports
• Assist with analysis of financial information including variances and trends
• Assist with the annual budget process and forecasting
• Maintaining and improving systems & processes
