We currently have an exciting role available for a Management Accountant to join our Sydney Finance Team!

Reporting to the Finance Manager – Operations this role is an integral part of the Finance Operations Team. Working autonomously as well as part of the team it will be responsible for delivering excellence in financial reporting and financial insights while being a business partner to the business and management team.

Key Role Outputs Include

• Delivering timely & accurate monthly financial results, including:
• Monthly journals for assigned P&L responsibility
• Monthly revenue reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations including Intercompany recs
• Monthly Management Reporting
• Budgets / Forecasts including JV’s
• Functional management Reporting / Dashboards/ Insights / Actions. Communicate and provide insights into business performance
• Detailed financial analysis
• Completion of annual insurance questionnaire
• Asist with tax work papers
• Internal /Audit requests

The successful candidate will have:

• High-level interpersonal & communication skills – High level business partnering & support
• High level technical accounting skills & attention to detail
• Analytical ability and working with data
• Present complicated concepts and data in a simple way
• A methodical approach and problem-solving skills
• Organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines and manage competing tasks
• Advanced Excel experience
• ERP Cloud experience is desirable
• Oracle ERP experience
• Strong business acumen and commercially minded
• Self-motivated & resilient
• 3-5 years relevant Management Accounting experience
• Relevant Business Degree required
• CPA or part complete Results orientated
• Clearly demonstrate a path of progression into a management accounting role and is flexible to be able to confidently apply learnings and skills in a new business environment.
