What You Will Do
- Operate & maintain an automated DevOps Infrastructure-as-Code environment using RHEL Linux as an Operating system
- Deployment, configuration & verification of key mission critical applications (such as S/4 HANA) & infrastructure (VM provisioning, Ansible scripting[TK1] and troubleshooting)
- Manage a highly secure multi-OS Linux environment. Patching and Upgrades of the Operating systems on a monthly or ad-hoc cycle as per policies and procedures
- Monitoring (proactive) and troubleshooting of key mission critical SAP applications running on RHEL
- Operational support as SME for 24x7 systems including on-call rotation duties.
- Create scripts and assist with automated deployment processes
- Understanding File system concepts, Virtual Machines, Compute, Storage and their basic concepts from hyperscalers such as AWS and Azure
- Setup and configuration of tools to monitor the applications, security, and auditing
- Expertise around User Account Management on Linux , Network Traffic Capture
- Provide extensive troubleshooting & technical expertise in identifying issues that impact service delivery
- Participate in scheduling, planning & implementing changes and new system deployment
What You Bring
- Strong expertise with Linux (RedHat, SUSE, Ubuntu)
- Solid understanding of security fundamentals
- Strong expertise in Ansible & Terraform scripting
- Strong Expertise in Operating system backup and restore
- Experience with Network router, Firewalls, SIEMS and Monitoring systems
- Expertise with AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience in operating within an Infrastructure-as-Code environment
- Experience building, implementing, and supporting monitoring and logging tools
- SAP Basis experience and understanding of SAP systems architecture is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent
- Demonstrated IT work experience with an emphasis on production support of high-capacity mission critical Cloud applications & systems
