Learning Developer

Description:

One of Australia’s prominent Federal Government Departments is looking to engage an experienced Learning Developer to support the development of organisational capability to enable the department to effectively perform its government mandated functions. The Learning Developer will collaborate to develop and implement innovative and effective learning solutions for the department. The successful Learning Developer will be offered an initial 12 month contract along with a 12 month extension option partnered with a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Learning Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Implement and/or facilitate effective and engaging face to face, blended and eLearning learning solutions
• Empower and provide direction to support the department's employees
• Promote workplace safety, equity and diversity, and act in accordance with the department’s Values and Behaviours
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of learning solutions developed by Branch staff and interfacing business units

The successful Learning Developer will have experience in the following:

• Experience in using eLearning authoring tools
• Experience in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning and development programs
• Demonstrated understanding of adult learning theory and practice, including experience developing both face to face and blended learning solutions
• Experience in facilitating learning solutions (training programs and/or modules) in both a face-to-face context and virtually
