Description:
- Conduct early project scoping in collaboration with project and development teams.
- Understand mobile apps UI/UX, review and propose technologies for automation, develop test strategies and contribute proposals for testability.
- Lead and review test plans including test design, test coverage, test approach, risk assessment and reporting metrics with internal and vendor teams
- Lead test execution with external vendors and report on quality metrics for app releases
- Report issues through a formal bug tracking system and work with the engineering team to help isolate, debug and resolve issues/bugs
- Participate in bug review meetings and analyze bug status data and metrics.
- Act as a third line of support for Apps customer support team (reported issues triage)
- Collaborate with audio/video engineers and QA engineers in the company on projects to understand requirements and product behaviour.
- Serve as a mobile apps QA lead, mentor and guide for junior members in project team
You
- Minimum BSc degree in science or engineering.
- 5+ years’ experience working as quality assurance engineer for mobile app projects
- Professional experience in developing automation tests for iOS and/or Android apps
- Professional experience using git, firebase, fastlane, bug/crash tools in CI/CD environment
- Demonstrable experience in test strategy development, test planning, test case design and implementation
- Demonstrable experience working with cross geo teams and stakeholders
- Ability to lead bug triages and assign severity considering product requirements
- Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of stakeholder needs to report on progress in test activities.
- High level written and verbal communication in both general and technology-specific applications.
