Lead Financial Analyst

Description:

Randstad is currently working with a top tier Defence contractor on a critical enterprise network modernisation program. This company will lead the planning and designing of the communications, surveillance systems, and network services to support the critical air traffic control functions. As the Lead Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the planning and reporting of the financial aspects of the program. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Melbourne. Flexible work arrangements and an office/home office split are also available.

• Conduct financial analysis and generate reports to ensure that contracts are within the negotiated parameters and guidelines for cost control;
• Manage banking, billing, taxation, and costing, as well as external and internal audits.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reporting schedules.
• Coordinate with the payroll, accounting, tax, and Treasury departments (APAC) as required.
• Provide guidelines to the Program Finance Team
• A tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, or business with a financial analysis background
• Preference will be given to individuals with the CPA credential.
• Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM), as well as internal and external financial performance reporting
