Description:
We’re looking for a Lead DevOps Engineers to join our team. As the Lead DevOps Engineer you’ll be responsible for ensuring that applications are designed, developed, deployed and maintained in alignment with infrastructure capabilities and operational considerations.
A natural collaborator you’ll be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders across Infrastructure, Architecture and Development to ensure applications run smoothly and are scalable in meeting transaction growth.
What you’ll do
- Build, integrate and maintain tools, applications and infrastructure that support development and testing.
- Collaborate with various internal teams, stakeholders, to design and build platform automation products, accelerating stream aligned teams to deliver in a self-service manner
- Maintain application configuration management repositories and enhance our configuration management capabilities.
- Automate development, infrastructure and operations team's manual processes.
- Design SQL queries to extract data from source and target to ETL validations.
- Instrumental in the adoption of Agile/Scrum practice, methodologies and attitude.
What we’re looking for
- Hands on experience of virtualization technologies-Hyper- VMWare environments, service based cloud models–i.e. SaaS, PaaS, etc
- Hands on experience in Windows Server Systems Administration and / or Linux Administration.
- Proven experience of Configuration management using Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.
- Experience performing software testing within a structured software development cycle.
- Proven experience with database centric application designs, crafting of complex SQL queries, comfortable with SET theory, (joins, ddl, dml etc)
- Strong scripting language skills with Python, PowerShell and Bash
- Strong understanding of source-control and branching methodologies and tools: Git, TFVC, etc.
- Experience with effectively using Code Coverage Analysis tools for Java and C# or similar languages.
