Lead Civil Engineer

TEN Recruit are recruiting a Lead Civil Engineer to join a global engineering consultancy, based in Perth’s CBD. An opportunity has arisen within our clients Energy & Resources team which focusses on WA’s mining industry. As a result, our client is keen to speak to Civil Engineer’s with experience working in the mining sector with exposure to projects that could include open roads, bulk earthworks, drainage, sustaining capital works or process infrastructure. Our client is equally keen to speak to both permanent candidates as well as candidates who prefer to work on a contract basis.

• Provide technical guidance on assigned projects.
• Be aware of the project deliverables, budget and scheduled requirements.
• Undertake the project design engineering tasks and document the design in engineering deliverables in accordance with the project requirements.
• Communicate engineering requirements to Designers and other Engineers.
• Participate in Safety in Design within in the project design parameters.
• Self-review and self-check design.
• Develop long term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Experience working in the mining / resources industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient use of related packages including MS Office Suite, 12d or Civil 3D would be highly desirable.
• Desirable use of related drainage design packages including XPSWMM, DRAINS, TuFlow.
