- Laundry Management: Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and residents' clothing.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for stains or damage and report issues as necessary.
- Inventory Maintenance: Keep track of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Sanitization: Ensure all laundry is processed according to health and safety standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of laundry processed and any incidents or issues encountered.
- Collaboration: Work closely with care staff to ensure timely delivery of clean clothing and linens.
What you'll bring:
You're reliable, resilient and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are genuinely interested in supporting others and making a difference in your community.
- Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping roles preferred
- Ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- A sense of compassion & empathy towards elderly residents
- Experience working in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential)
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- NDIS Workers Screening Check or proof of application
