Laundry Assistant

  • Laundry Management: Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and residents' clothing.
  • Quality Control: Inspect items for stains or damage and report issues as necessary.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Keep track of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
  • Sanitization: Ensure all laundry is processed according to health and safety standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of laundry processed and any incidents or issues encountered.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with care staff to ensure timely delivery of clean clothing and linens.

  • Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping roles preferred
  • Ability to work independently, a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
  • A sense of compassion & empathy towards elderly residents
  • Experience working in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential)



    You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
     
    • NDIS Workers Screening Check or proof of application
