Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor

 

Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience in leading a large and diverse team within hospitality operation. This role ensures that the team is well trained in industry leading ways of working and knowledge of the machinery used within the stewarding department. You will be a champion in motivating the team to achieve the highest standards in hygiene, as well as ensuring all compliance requirements are met and that kitchen presentation is impeccable

Additionally you will have the eye for attention to detail, ability to work as a part of a team, excellent communication skills and able to affectively manage your working responsibilities.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Relevant experience in a similar position, ideally in a 5 star Hotel or large hospitality business
  • Experience in rostering, training, risk assessments and cleaning chemicals and machinery
  • Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP
  • Ability to create detailed cleaning schedules
  • Strong team building and delegation skills
