Description:
The main purpose of the Kindergarten Improvement Advisor is to advise, support and build the capacity of funded kindergarten services to continuously improve service quality, particularly through the implementation of school readiness funding and funded kindergarten.
The Kindergarten Improvement Advisor will need to draw on past experience and knowledge in an early learning context, administration of early childhood services and curriculum delivery. To be successful in this role you should have excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, analytical skills, and possess a strong understanding of quality pedagogical practices. You will play a lead role in improving the quality of early learning experiences particularly for educationally disadvantaged children.
The role will work closely with other staff in the Early Childhood Improvement Branch.
