Linuwel is a K-12 school and preschool for Steiner education with approximately 250 students. Situated in a semi-rural setting on Wonnarua country in the Hunter Valley, it is surrounded by farmland and historic towns and villages, a short distance to Newcastle and an hour from Port Stephens.

Role Purpose

The kindergarten assistant at Linuwel School provides support to the kindergarten teacher in areas including but not limited to:

• Caring for and supervising children
• Cleaning/tidying the classroom
• Assisting with and preparing for and delivering classroom activities including cooking, arts and crafts
• 1 term of outdoor learning
• Behaviour and learning support
