This position will determine the sales focus of the company and will have a direct impact on success by analysing, developing, and delivering strategies to expand sales and gain national long-term agreements within the specified client sector.

The successful applicant would be based in either Melbourne or Sydney and will work alongside the Sales Manager to build the sales and marketing strategies and put them into action.

You will manage existing clients, generate, and develop new ideas then execute to build profitable business growth. Drive strategy and ensure execution of the sales and marketing activities for our business nationally.

  • Develop strategic plans to expand the use of Alcolizer Technology products nationally
  • Undertake business analysis of existing customer profiles to identify holistic opportunities for national sales growth
  • Engage and educate at the corporate level to embed our products into our customers systems and processes
  • Engage with the business development team to ensure familiarity with sales strategies and delivery of a cohesive message to customers
  • Leverage your expertise to build capability and drive a delivery mindset within the business development team
  • Provide senior-level contract and commercial services, including involvement with contract negotiation and establishment of national contracts
  • Adopt a hands-on approach to analysing, developing, and implementing the execution of business development opportunities within existing customers on a national level
  • Hold a relevant degree in Business, Management or Marketing
  • Have at least 10 years industry experience preferably at a national senior sales level
  • Have a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months old)
  • Be professional with a good understanding of business acumen
  • Expertise in the analysis of customers and development of sales strategies
  • Strong knowledge of industrial and construction industry processes
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Collaborative leadership styles with the natural ability to engage and empower others
  • Good PC skills especially with Microsoft suite, and CRM systems
  • Be flexible as travel will be a regular occurrence locally and interstate
  • Reside in either Melbourne or Sydney
  • Have full and unrestricted Australian work rights
  • Self-starter who can take direction and learn quickly
