Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, commercially minded, self-motivated, and dynamic individual – a thorough sales professional to join our team in Melbourne (home office) location. You will work autonomously, possessing the unique ability to combine sales, scientific and technical experience to build and maintain strong relationships with our customers in the Livestock, Poultry and Dairy (LPD) industry by providing account management, technical support, and training. This is a dynamic role primarily working with producers, consultants, and Vet Practices, implementing trials, representing IDEXX at conferences, and engaging with the IDEXX global organization. The role requires regular travel throughout Australia and some international travel.
You, as the successful candidate will:
Be a Sales professional with demonstrated sales success in a Key Account role in a technical environment.
Possess a background in Account Management and business development – highly advantageous.
Have experience with sales of technical products.
3-5 years of Account Management experience in animal health or related industry
Sales or Marketing degree – desired but not essential
Any LPD Industry Sales or Testing experience is highly regarded.
Science background within animal health industry - desired or equivalent
Experience in developing new accounts for animal health sales, pharmaceutical companies and the like.
